Due to Government restrictions on outdoor gatherings, the 2021 Festival has been cancelled.
The cancellation of this year’s Hunters Hill Food and Wine Festival resulted in a $25,000 deficit in the budget of our main beneficiary, Sydney Community Services (SCS). The cancellation has impacted on their ability to provide much needed support to vulnerable people in our community. For example, since the pandemic started, the appeals for food and essential items alone have increased ten-fold.
This has also been a very difficult time for all the rural communities and wineries, given the bushfires and then Covid-19.
The Food and Wine Festival has partnered with some of the main supporters of the Festival to make some special offers available to the community providing significant support to them and with a financial payback to Sydney Community Services.
The festival brings together many top restaurants and food outlets.
Wine sellers flock to the festival to sell their products.
The festival brings together a fantastic community.
